The bride wore a smart tailored suit of heavy silk complemented by a green printed blouse. She wore a white hopsack straw hat with a brown grosgrain ribbon crown. Her shoulder corsage was of orchids. Miss Betty Wilkie, sister of the bride, was her only attendant. She wore a smart yellow silk frock trimmed in white with a shoulder corsage of talisman roses and delphiniums. Edward K. Taylor was the best man. Mrs. Wilkie chose a brown marquisette gown and the bridegroom’s mother wore black sheer. Both had corsages of gardenias. A wedding breakfast was served after the wedding at 1629 Hertel Avenue. |
