R.C. VOGHT, 42, LOCAL LAWYER, DIES AT HOME
Had practiced in city for 20 years; funeral services at home tomorrow
Raymond C. Voght, 42 years old, well-known Buffalo attorney, died early yesterday at his home, 40 Dunlop Avenue, after an illness of nearly a month. Death was caused by pneumonia.
Mr. Voght practiced law in this city for twenty years, having been associated with Charles A. Hahl. He was a native of Buffalo and obtained his education in Public School 24, Technical High School and the University of Buffalo law school.
He was a member of the Marshall Club, and the Erie County Bar Association, and a charter member of Kappa Sigma Phi fraternity, Technical High School. He was a past master of Lakeland Lodge, No. 952, F. & A.M.
Surviving besides his wife are four children, Raymond C. Jr., Gordon H. [sic], Nelson R., and Donald W. Voght.
Funeral services under Masonic auspices will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow at the home. Officiating will be Dr. Lester A. Kilpatrick, pastor of the Central Park M.E. Church, and the Rev. S. Leslie Reid, pastor of University Presbyterian Church. Services also will be held at 2:30 o'clock at the Buffalo Crematory.
