DELAMONT.
JACOB, of Albany, d. March 14, 1719, a. 81 ys., leaving two sons, Jan or Johannes, who settled in Schenectady, and Marten of Schaghticoke.

MARTEN, son of Jacob, of "Schadthooke," m. Lybeth Viele, Nov. 14, 1702, in Albany. Ch. bp. in Albany: Pieter, Oct. 1, 1703; Catharina, April 20, 1707; Catharina, Oct. 31, 1708; Pieter, Oct. 7, 1711; Abraham, Feb. 10, 1717.

JAN or JOHANNES, son of Jacob, m. first Johanna Clara Kleyn, widow of N. N. Metselaer, May 4, 1707, in Albany; and secondly, Eva, dau. of Hendrick Brouwer. He was b. July 30, 1684, d. Dec. 20, 1766. In 1710 he was High Constable of Albany; in 1735 Voorlezer of the church in Schenectady. His wife Eva, d. Oct. 2, 1747, a. 45 ys., 6 m., 3 d. Ch. b: Jacob, July 7, 1723, "murdered by the hands of the enemy and buried in Stillwater, Oct. 24, 1746" [Bible]; Maria, May 9, 1725, m. Abraham Christianse; Hendrik, Feb. 25, 1727, d. Aug 21, 1743; Catrina, May 6, 1728, m. Henricus Vokertse Veeder; Abraham, b. July 25, 1730 [Bible], bp. July 19, 1729 [Church record]; Elisabeth, Dec. 16, 1732, m. Jacobus Bratt; Margarieta, Jan. 26, 1735, m. Abraham Swits; Jannetje, Feb. 26, 1737, m. Johannes Teller; Annatie, May 4, 1739, m. Christoffel Felthousen; Eva, Nov. 10, 1741, m. Claas Vedder; Henrick, Oct. 24, 1745.

ABRAHAM, son of Jan, m. first, Annatje, dau. of Alexander Vedder, Dec. 4, 1766. She d. July 21, 1779, and he m. secondly Volkie Wemp, June 30, 1782; he d. Dec. 23, 1792. Ch. b: Jacob, Jan. 13, 1768, d. March 19, 1768; Jacob, Dec. 30, 1768; Maria, Aug. 7, 1771, d. May 16, 1780; Johannes, Feb. 25, 1774; Alexander, July 9, 1779, d. Aug. 11, 1779.

HENDRICK, son of Jan, m. Elisabeth Van Dyck. In 1781 he owned the lot in Union street where the Court House now stands, beginning 100 ft. Amst. meas. west from Ferry street; made his will Nov. 9, 1808, proved Oct. 25, 1820; wife Margaret, but no ch. mentioned. Ch: John, b. Jan. 29, 1787.

JACOB, son of Abraham, m. Debora, dau. of Johannes Bratt, April 5, 1789. She d. in Rotterdam, Nov. 5, 1844, a. 73 ys. Ch: Annatje, b. May 21, 1789.

JOHANNES, son of Abraham, m. Rebecca De Graaf, Nov. 23, 1799. She d. Oct. 13, 1837. Ch. b.: Maria, June 27, 1800; Cornelius, July 31, 1802, d. Jan 18, 1837; Annatie, Sept. 25, 1806; Rebecca, Oct. 12, 1809, d. March 9, 1839; Eva, Sept. 24, 1812, d. April 7, 1834; a son unbaptised, Oct. 31, 1815, d. Dec 22, 1815; Volkie Eliza, April 3, 1817, d. Dec 5, 1842; Debora Ann and Abraham Henry, twins, Feb. 25, 1821.
