Mrs. Wright was born in the town of Victory, Cayuga county, in August, 1812. She was a charter and prominent member of the Geddes Congregational church, and was a member of the old wooden First Presbyterian church, which stood on the present site of McCarthy's retail store. She was a nurse for a number of years, and had cared for the members of many prominent families, notably the Geres, Porters and Beldens. Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Judson J., a son, Willis J., and a daughter, Mrs. Charles Wilkie, and a brother, Franklin Grant, of Erie St., all of this city.
