| Marriage announcement of John Daniels and Ida Hirsch (Buffalo Courier, 22 Apr 1900, page 24) One of the most charming of the early spring weddings was solemnized last Wednesday evening, when Miss Ida B. Hirsch and Mr. John Daniels were united in marriage at their new home in Marilla. The Rev. Mr. Moss of the Hampshire Street Methodist Episcopal Church, Buffalo, performed the ceremony in the presence of half a hundred relatives and friends of the bride and groom. There were no attendants. The bride wore an Empire gown of grey crepe de chine, and she carried bride roses. The house was beautifully decorated with spring flowers and ferns, and the supper tables were laid in green and white. A mandolin and guitar club of which the bride is a member played the wedding march and furnished the music during the informal reception by which the ceremony was followed. A special car conveyed the Buffalo guests to Elma, from where they were driven in carriages to Marilla. Mr. and Mrs. Daniels left at midnight for the East.
