    • Per the Bonnell family bible, the wedding took place at George Vogt's residence (brother-in-law of Jacob Bonnell), and Jacob's sister Elizabeth Bonnell Vogt served as one of the witnesses. Jacob and Lucretia lived on that homestead for a time after their marriage, before moving to Wisconsin.

When Geneva Draper, of Pocatello, ID, sent me a copy of the family record in her great-grandmother’s bible, she also sent a picture of her great-grandparents, probably taken at the time of their marriage in 1857. The presentation page reads: "Presented to Lucretia Bonnell by her Husband Jacob Bonnell 1886."
