| 260 | Wedding announcement of Adolph Hirsch and Caroline Lakey (Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, 28 Dec 1894, page 8) The storm made no difference with the very pretty though informal wedding which took place at the home of Mrs. Catharine W. Lakey on Vienna Street, Palmyra, yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock. The bridal pair were Miss Carolyn Rogers Lakey, of of Palmyra, and Adolph C. Hirsch, formerly of Rochester, but now engaged in business in Buffalo. The ceremony was performed by Rev J.R. Henderson, pastor of the Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Hirsch took the first train for the West. Among the guests from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Raikes, Mr. and Mrs. C.K. Summerhays, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Laudes, of Rochester; Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Shearer, Mr. aud Mrs. George H. Courier, Mr. and Mrs, Charles E. Ferguson, Dr. and Mrs. F.B. Vogt, Miss Hirsch. Miss Ida Hirsch, Charles Hirsch, of Buffalo; Mrs. Irving K. Halliwell, of Wappingers Falls; J.D. Lane, of New York. |

Voght and Anna Hirsch (Buffalo Morning Express, 30 Jun 1889, page 16) One of the many pretty weddings of the week was that Of Miss Annie Hirsch and Dr. Frank B. Voght on Thursday evening. They were married at the home of Mrs. Wentworth on Connecticut Street, the Rev. Dr. Hubbell officiating. The bride wore a becoming traveling gown of old rose. The bridesmaid was Miss Berita (sic) Hirsch and the groomsman was Dr. C. B. Le Van. Among those present were Miss Annie Voght and Mr. William Voght of Lockport, and Miss E. Campbell of Rochester. Dr. and Mrs. Voght have gone East on their bridal trip. |

| 262 | Wedding announcement of Raymond C. Voght and F. Edith Wilkie (Buffalo Morning Express, 30 Dec 1914) Voght-Wilkie. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilkie in University avenue on Monday evening the marriage of Miss F. Edith Wilkie to Raymond C. Voght was solemnized by the Rev. E. Bayley of the Central Park Methodist Episcopal church. The bride wore ivory crepe meteor with silk net, shadow lace and pearl trimming. Her veil was fastened with lilies of the valley and she carried a shower bouquet of bride roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Frances Wilkie, as her sister's maid of honor, wore champagne crepe de chine with sapphire blue velvet and corsage bouquet of safrano roses. Frederick W. Winkler was best man and the bride's niece, Miss Frances E. Wilkie, was flower girl, carrying primroses and rosebuds. Miss Ethel G. Voght played the wedding music. The ceremony took place before the fireplace, which was banked with palms and poinsettia. Mr. and Mrs. Voght have left for an eastern trip and after February 1st will be at home at No. 608 Humboldt parkway. |
