Marriage announcement of Charles S. Green and Phyllis M. Gumtow (Amherst Bee, 10 May 1945, page 12)

GREEN-GUMTOW
The marriage of Miss Phyllis M. Gumtow, daughter of Mr. William Gumtow of Olean, N. Y., to Mr. Charles S. Green, son of Mrs. Frances Green of Williamsville, was solemnized on Saturday, May 5, 1945, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, Williamsville. Rev. Charles J. Menge performed the ceremony.
The bride wore a dress of blue with white accessories and a corsage of roses. Her attendant, Miss Mary Frances Green, sister of the bride-groom, wore navy blue with white accessories and a corsage of roses.
The best man was Mr. Raymond Voght, cousin of the bridegroom.
A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bridegroom's aunt, Mrs. Raymond Voght, 90 Eugene avenue, Kenmore.
The bride is a graduate nurse at the Deaconess Hospital, Buffalo, The bridegroom is a graduate of Williamsville High School.
