Marriage announcement of Sidney Green and Frances Wilkie (Buffalo Morning Express, 7 Aug 1917, page 9)

The marriage of Miss Frances A. Wilkie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Wilkie, to Sidney R. Green of Medina was solemnized at 3 o'clock last Saturday afternoon at the bride's home in University avenue, the Rev. Mr. Bailey of North Tonawanda officiating. The bride wore white crepe de chine with Chantilly lace. Her veil was arranged with white sweet peas and she carried white roses. Miss Ethel Self, the maid of honor, wore white [illeg] and carried pink roses and sweet peas. John Green was best man. The ceremony took place before the fireplace, which was banked with palms and ferns. A basket of roses was on the mantel shelf. Mr. and Mrs. Green have left for an eastern trip and will be at home after September 1st in Medina.
