Margaret Louise Foster, Richard Gould Exchange Vows in Garden City Cathedral (Newsday, 8 Jun 1948, page 31)

Miss Margaret Louise Foster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond C. Foster of Washington Ave., Garden City, became the bride of Richard A. Gould, son of Mrs. Geneva A. Gould of St. Albans, on Saturday afternoon in the Cathedral of the Incarnation, Garden City. The Very Rev. Hubert Stanley Wood, dean of the Cathedral, officiated. A reception followed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Foster.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white organdy with a fingertip-length tulle caught by a wreath of flowers. She carried an old fashioned bouquet of mixed white flowers.
Miss Norma Sylvester of Garden City was maid of honor. She wore a gown of blue organdy with a white horsehair picture hat trimmed with blue maline.
Harty Albert of Cliffside, N. J., was best man. The ushers were John Orban of Hempstead and Raymond Foster Jr. of Boston, brother of the bride.
Mrs. Gould was graduated from the Cathedral School fo St. Mary, Garden City, and Mrs. Skinner’s Secretarial School, New York City.
Mr. Gould received his bachelor of science degree from Columbia University School of Business Administration and is attending Fordham University School of Law.
After a wedding trip, the couple will reside in St. Albans.
