Ten Honored by Medical Society Have Practiced a Total of 539 Years
There's a total of 539 years of medical practice - enough to stretch far back of the days of modern medicine - in this group of ten of the 41 veteran practitioners honored Thursday evening by the Medical Society of the County of Erie. Left to right, with their schools and years of graduation, they are: Seated, Dr. Frank B. Rasbach, Bellevue, New York, 1891; Dr. Frank W. Sweetland, University of Buffalo, 1878; Dr. Frank B. Voght, Niagara, 1889; and Dr. William Hoddick, U. B., 1886. Standing, Dr. James Stoddart, Edinborough, Scotland, 1888; Dr. J. Henry Dowd, U. B., 1890; Dr. Salo Matthews, Berlin, 1891; Dr. Albert E. Persons, New York University, 1881; Dr. James P. Wilson, N. Y. U., 1889, and Dr. A. L. Benedict, U. B., 1888 and Pennsylvania, 1889.
