Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Therit Bowles of S. Ellicott St., Williamsville, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Ellen, to Frank Gilbert Aines, son of Mrs. Henry Snow of Hollywood, Califo., and the late Carroll H. Aines of Kansas City, Mo.
Miss Bowles, a graduate of the Park School of Buffalo, attended the University of Buffalo. Mr. Aines was graduated from Wentworth Military Academy, Lexington, Mo., and Kansas State College of Engineering, Manhattan, Kan.
The wedding will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20. |

On Sunday, March 27, 2022, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Judy Aines; father of Thomas and Steven Aines and survived by other family and friends. Frank graduated from Wentworth Military Academy, was a graduate of Kansas State University '56 and honorably discharged from the US Army. Frank had a long career as an electrical engineer working on shipboard weapons and communication systems for example. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, April 5, from 10 to 11 a.m., where Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or WETA.

Judy Ann Aines, 71, of Silver Spring, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at Bedford Court.
Born Dec. 23, 1944, in Cumberland, Judy was the daughter of Ruth (Cox) and John (Buck) Robison, formerly of Ridgeley, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Vergie Mae (Baldwin) Cox; and her paternal grandparents, Solomon and Bertha (Kaylor) Robison.
Judy was a 1962 graduate of Fort Ashby High School, she retired from Montgomery Mutual Insurance.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Frank Aines; her parents, Buck and Ruth Robison of Silver Spring; her sister, Pat and husband, Tom Crawford, Fairview, Texas; a daughter, Michelle McLagan, New York; and granddaughter, Abilgail McLagan, Ottawa, Canada.
Burial service was conducted Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring.
