(Norma) Robertson of Rocky Mountain, Va., Dr. Richard D. Bowles of Matthews, Va.; also survived by grandchildren. Mr. Bowles was a graduate of Virginia Military Institute and a retired superintendant of the Allied Chemical Co. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Columbia, S.C. Service will be held at 11 AM, Wed. at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church with burial in Travis Park Cemetery in Saluda, S.C. Memorials may be made to the Saluda Nursing Center.
