Thomas Carl Haber, age 93 a longtime resident of Okeana, Ohio passed away on February 23, 2023 at Hospice of Southwest Ohio. He was born on June 19, 1929 in Lockport, New York the son of Peter and Mary (Mis) Haber. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during WWII and Korea. He was employed for many years at G.E. as a manager in the drafting department. Tom was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Shandon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Beakman) Haber in 2010; by his parents; one son, Frederick P. Haber; one grandson, Joseph Haber; seven brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by his children, Thomas C. (Diana) Haber, Kenneth E. (Joan) Haber, Catherine A. (Tom) Murphy, and Marla L. (James) Kelly; one daughter-in-law, Gwen Haber; his grandchildren, Thomas (Adrianne) Haber III, Douglas (Jennilee) Haber, Gregory (Stephanie) Haber, Karen (Nicholas) Petricoff, Keith (Rachel) Haber, Jeffery (Megan) Haber, Kenneth (Erica) Haber, Michael Murphy, Sarah (Mikey) Dacey, Peter Kelly, and Victoria Kelly; great grandchildren, Isabel, Sophie, Ivan, Amanda, Jackson, Matthew, Adam, Theodore, Ryan, Emma, Blaise, Lila, James, Logan, Leah, Lowell, Carina, Calvin; one brother, Paul Haber; one sister, Mary Janet McCurdy; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Morgan Twp. Fire Department, 3141 Chapel Road, Okeana, OH 45053.
