Jean (Wright) Brinton passed away peacefully on November 26th, 2015 at the age of 87. She joins her loving husband of 64 years, Monte, and son, Darrell in Heaven, and is survived by her kids, Monte Jr, Judy (Rob), Sue, Patty (Chris), 6 grandchildren (Chrissy, Sandy, Danny, Nick, Sarah, Conner) and 3 great grandbabies (Rylan, Kenza, Sy'rai). Jean was born in Newfane, NY, to Harold and Irene Wright and had 5 siblings. She graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in 1947, and worked at Johns Manville as a secretary. Jean met the love of her life, Monte, on a blind date and they married on Oct. 8, 1949. She spent her life caring for her family, and in retirement, she and Monte were very involved with the Retail Clerks Retirees Club and enjoyed many trips with friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., Jan. 2nd, 2016 from 12p-2p at the Concord Senior Center on Parkside Drive. She will be loved and missed always.
