Voght, pastor of the Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, died Monday (June 17, 1975) at their Town of Tonawanda home following a short illness. A teacher for more than 20 years in various Western New York school systems, Mrs. Voght was well-known in the Kenmore area for her voluntary lectures on children’s literature and on her recently completed tour of the Holy Land. Mrs. Voght taught kindergarten and second grade in the Lockport, Sweet Home, and Kenmore school systems prior to her retirement in 1974. She held a masters degree in education from Buffalo State and a masters degree in library science from Geneseo State College.
