SALLY HODGKINS. NUPTIALS HELD IN SAN LEANDRO
White stock and chrysanthemums decorated All Saint's Episcopal Church in San Leandro for the wedding of Sally Sweetlove Hodgkins and Donald Leslie Wright, solemnized at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon with the Rev. Henry T. Praed officiating.
Sally was escorted to the altar by her father, Whitney C. Hodgkins, who gave her in marriage. She was attended by a maid of honor, Lois Jean Geis of Jackson, and a bridesmaid, Beverly Bryant of Fresno.
The bridal gown was of heirloom lace in all white, the skirt designed in ballerina length. The sleeves were full length and the neckline of the bodice finished with a Peter Pan collar. A jacket of matching lace completed the ensemble with which she wore a fingertip veil of illusion held with a coronet of lace studded with seed pearls. The crown was designed by her father. She carried a white prayer book topped with a white cattleya orchid, lily of the valley and streamers.
Champagne net over satin and a short matching jacket was donned by the honor attendant, who wore in her hair a coronet braid of matching satin and net. Her lowers were Talisman roses arranged in a cascade bouquet.
The bridesmaid was similarly dressed but in coral and her flowers were coral pink carnations tied with ribbons to match.
Robert A. White of Sacramento stood with the benedict as his best man. Ushering were Robert W. Wright, brother of the bridegroom, from Concord; Paul B. Harrington of Pittsburg and Dermont S. Brinton of Concord.
Arthur Curtis Hodgkins, the bride's younger brother, was altar boy.
